Travis Bean TB-4000 Wedge Bass 1977 - RARE FERRARI RED
As far as I know, this is the last remaining original finish RED Travis Bean Wedge Basses left on the planet. (As per research on the travisbean.com database.)
If you've made it to this page, I'm sure you already know how rare this guitar is. Only 36 TB4000s were made, making it the rarest of all the Travis Bean production models (excludes one-offs and private models.) This is from the original 1977 production model, overseen by Travis Bean himself – not the recent remakes by Electrical.
The sides show how the original foam has eaten into the paint (the original cases were lined with foam which had a chemical reaction with the paint over the years.)
(Currently missing the E-string, but will re-string and post as soon as my strings arrive.)
