A really cool and very RARE 1970 Arirang Model LE1000 Neck Thru made by Samick in Korea Electric Guitar. This guitar is very cool and it plays and sounds great! These were only made one year in 1970. All checked out and ready to ROCK Again!!
The guitar has a three way switch that activates the twin No Cover Original Hot Humbucker pickups. One volume and tone controls for each pickup. The intonating Harmonica Style bridge works as it should as does the truss rod. The guitar has a 24 1/2 inch scale neck and a 1 11/16 wide nut. It has 22 original frets that are in great shape. The Neck is a super big U Shape. Your typical Baseball Bat neck. Want a huge neck for your gib hands. You'll love this one. My smaller hands liked it as well. Feels great in the hand!
The guitar is made with Rock Hard Mape with walnut stripes laminated in. Its a neck thru design that was so popular back in the 1970's. The guitar is very solid. Weighs 8 lbs 7 ozs. We had Jeff the Tech set it up with a new set of 10 gauge strings. It plays great with awesome low action. No sore fingers with this one. The Pickups sound massive. Very strong Humbuckers with lots of life in them. These don't act like inexpensive pickups! The tuners were upgraded to a Grove Style that keep the guitar in perfect tune. Original everything else from there!ar
The guitar is in great shape but has a few dings and such. Nothing of note. Just some player wear. The frets are still in great shape. Love playing this cool guitar.
No original case came with this Airang beauty. We are including the shown Brand New On Stage gigbag that does fit it great and will make a great case for your cool guitar!
