This handy little piece lets you play your USB midi devices with standard midi DIN jacks with no computer.
Same function as the Kenton USB MIDI Host (€125), or the Mode Machines Cerebel (€95) but cheaper.
So to be clear, with NO computer, you can connect your USB MIDI controllers to your MIDI gear using standard MIDI cables. The board is powered by a USB mini jack and can be powered by a portable power brick.
In the last photo, I have my Akai EWI USB connected to the host board, and the host board connected to a M-Audio Uno USB MIDI interface. You can see the computer is receiving breath control via MIDI. Hope that's somewhat clear!
Any questions, just ask. Thanks!
