This Beard Road-O-Phonic hybrid Resonator/Lap Steel guitar was ordered direct from the luthier Paul Beard in October '22. It is an incredible hybrid of a traditional resonator and lap steel.
This particular instrument has a Lollar P90 pickup in the neck position, a Lollar Gold Foil in the bridge position and also incorporates a Fishman Nashville bridge pickup each of which is independently blendable to provide an amazingly versatile palette of sounds from rich mellow lap steel to screaming bluesy resonant slide guitar and anything in between.

The top notch satin black hardware includes Gotoh mini tuners and a 9.5" biscuit bridge resonator. It comes in a Beard custom hard case.
I am selling only because I simply don't have the time to devote to achieving anything like a modest degree of competency on the instrument and would prefer that it go to someone who will make full use of it's capabilities.
I would prefer a buyer to collect but at a push would be prepared to ship entirely at buyer's cost and risk.
