Here for sale we have a Charvel by Jackson Model 3A in Pearl White finish. Built in Japan in 1986 this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising a Basswood body, Maple neck and 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard. The hardware featured on this instrument consists of a Kahler locking tremolo system along with Jackson sealed tuning machines. The pickups have been upgraded to a set of EMG Zakk Wylde 81 and 85 humbuckers, wired to master volume and tone controls and a 3-way blade switch.
The slender D-shaped neck profile sits comfortably in the hand, offering a smooth and comfortable playing surface and providing ergonomic thumb positioning up and down the neck. The 12”-16” compound radius provides maximum hand comfort for chords playing the lower register, whilst allowing greater speed and cleaner string bending as the player moves up the neck, great for more technically demanding playing styles. The double cutaway body design allows for unobstructed access to the higher register, whilst generous body contours provide comfort when playing in a seated position.
The active EMG Zakk Wylde 81 and 85 provide tones that are thick and full. The 85 in the neck offers boosted mids, big lows and fat highs, and is perfect for rock and metal lead tones. The 81 in the bridge position is EMG's most popular pickup, providing highly detailed intensity that will help your rhythm tones slice through even the densest of mixes. Master volume and tone controls keep things feeling nice and straightforward, overall a really solid workhorse guitar.

Headstock: Overall good condition, light scratching is visible to the front face. This is only noticeable under direct lighting at certain angles. The tip of the headstock has been repaired, which is noticeable when inspecting.
Neck: Overall very good condition, light scratching and indentation is visible to the rear. This is only visible under direct lighting at certain angles and is not felt under the thumb. The fingerboard presents very light markings, difficult to discern against the grain of the wood.
Body: Overall very good condition, chipping and cracking of the finish is visible to the corners and sides of the neck pocket. These do not affect the instrument's structure. Various "spots" of discoloration are apparent, most notably to the bass side edge of the bass horn. Moderate indentation and cracking of the finish is visible beside the jack socket. This should not worsen through regular use. All sides demonstrate very light scratching and indentation in places, not piercing the finish.
