This pre-serialized “R” edition of the Gibson ES-125 TCD was preserved is pristine condition for decades. With nearly undetectable signs of checking or wear, this guitar is a real gem. Instead of having the serial number stamped on the back of the headstock, there is a serial number beginning with “R” in the right F-hole. This subtle feature greatly increases the collectibility and rareness of this already rare guitar. While much of the hardware has been reissued, the body and paint of this instrument feel as though it just came out of the factory in 1960.
