About This Listing

This listing is for a Vintage turn of the century Vintage Unbranded acoustic Parlor guitar. This guitar is Unbranded As best I can tell this guitar is from the 1900's or 1910's. It's maybe a Lyon & Healy or Lakeside. The guitar is definitely pre-war American made and has BR back &. sides and V profile neck.

The guitar needs a full restoration and it appears someone actually began the restoration but stopped partway through the repair. The neck is not firmly attached and will separate from the body. The 13th fret has also been removed which is usually done to reset the neck. The guitar is missing an inlay in the neck and the bridge is also lifting up in the corners a little so it's likely the bridge would need a fresh reglue-reset. The binding on the sides of the neck is a little loose in a few spots and the guitar is missing the nut. The tuners appear original and are functional.

The guitar has a lovely inlaid binding and rosette and I think this could be a really wonderful guitar with a professionally done restoration. The guitar comes as pictured with the original Geib & Schaefer soft shell case. The case is in poor condition but the guitar will be expertly packed for safe shipping.,
