Spruce top, Indian Rosewood back & sides
Edgar Monch studied guitar making with Marcelo Barbero in Madrid. He later taught the art of guitar making to Jean Larrivee and Kolya Panhuyzen among many others. Segovia, John Williams, Julian Bream and many more played his guitars in their earlier years.
This guitar is very resonant and rich in tone - a very good example and typical sound from this time period.
In very good condition, there are only a few scratches and minimal usage wear. The center joint of the top has dried and separated over the years but there is a brace directly under the length of this separation so it is definitely stable.
