My grandfather bought this beauty at a pawn shop in Honolulu Hawaii sometime around 1957 when he lived there so there haven’t been many hands on it Aside from him and I. It hasn’t really been touched much at all in the past 50 years.

I had new tuners and pickups put in to play it while the originals were going to be sent in to be rewound. i believe it was a guy who worked with fender that offered to work on them for free. He was really excited to even see the pickups. that Was over ten years ago and I seem to have misplaced the original tuners and pickups! I am still looking for them because I know there around and will give them to whoever buys this if I do find them. But I am not including them in this listing or the price. They are somewhere around here!! For now I have another set in the bass and it all works beautifully in every way. It really is something else and means a lot to me and I hope to find it a new loving home.
