Taylor W15 1998 - 2006 - Walnut
For Sale is a 2001 Taylor W-15 in excellent condition. Very minor pick scuffs in the area where the pickguard would typically be is all. No dings, dents, chips, cracks or damage of any kind. Looks brand new.
The W-15 is a jumbo body made of figured Claro Walnut back and sides, Spruce top and ebony fingerboard and bridge.
The wood on this guitar is beutiful. The walnut pops and the top is very silky with lots of figure.
It is the top of the line crown jewel of Taylor's limited edition walnut-bodied acoustic guitars made in the late 90's/early 2000's from a private stock of Walnut. High Gloss top/sides/back and smooth satin neck feels excellent. Jumbo body, 17 inches wide at the lower bout. Sitka spruce top. Mahogany neck with a soft-V profile, 1 3/4” wide nut, ebony fretboard, and a 15” radius. Fler-de-le pattern inlays with matching headstock inlay.
Very low action, great volume, tone and punch. Plays great!
Very limited run, hard to find and sure to be a collectable.
Comes with original Taylor, hardshell case.
