A beautiful 1989 Ibanez Model ID80 Dyuke I Model Guitar. This guitar is in outstanding shape. Comes complete with a Brand New Hard Shell Case! Only made one year. What a cool guitar! Fully bound body and neck!! Its just beautiful!!

Here's some info on these really cool guitars.

The ID80 is a solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 1989. It was part of the short-lived Dyuke series which was produced by FujiGen and offered only in Japan.
The Dyuke line features a body style reminiscent of the Fender Stratocaster. It's an offset, double-cutaway shape with horns that are a bit shorter and wider than those of the RG body.

The ID80 features an ash body with binding bolted to a maple neck with a bubinga stripe and a 24-fret ebony fingerboard with binding and dot position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez mini humbucking pickups with individual volume and tone controls, Sure Grip II knobs, a standard fixed bridge and Gotoh tuning machines. It has a small tortoise pickguard mounted below the pickups.

The ID75 is a similar model with two blade-style single coil pickups.

The entire Dyuke line, including the ID80, was discontinued after just one year of production.

What can we say about the Ibanex Maxon Mini Humbucker Pickups... They are just awesome. They are full of tone and very proud. You will get noticed when you rip your leads with this guitar. These pickups really sing! I also love the Sure Grip Control knobs. The frets are in great shape even with a lot of play on the guitar. We cleaned it up a lot. There is some repaired damage of a very small spot by the upper bout near the strap button. We left it alone. Hard to notice but its there. See pic 9.

The guitar is set up with awesome playing low action with a new set of 10 guage Dr Ducks Strings. The guitar has a 25 1/2 inch scale neck and the nut measures a full 1 11/16 inches. It weighs 7 lbs 13 oz. Not nearly as heavy as most Les Paul Guitars.

We are shipping it in the shown Brand New Kramer Hard Shell Case. It fits the the guitar perfectly. It will protect your beautiful Ibanez for years to come!
