For sale is a 2017 Gibson SG Special HP (High Performance).
This instrument has been marginally customized as the original did not have the faux lyre. I added that aftermarket. I bought it and made it to be my "Derek Trucks" slide guitar, but I find myself rarely playing slide these days, so I don't really play it anymore. I removed the Gibson electronic tuners from it and I will include those in the sale if desired. I replaced them with ream-matching, Grover brand, locking, Kluson-style tuners (internal locking mechanism). The guitar plays and sounds fantastic and is easy to adjust thanks to the metal nut with adjustment screws. Will be shipped in the original Gibson SG padded gig bag. Please message me with any questions. The guitar is probably worth more, but I have discounted it as I made my own customizations and I realize not everyone wants to pay for these add-ons. Also, the plastic is still on the pickguard. Thanks for looking!
