Pioneer PL-518 Quick Start & Auto Return

The Pioneer Pl-518 turntable  is a two speed, DC Servo, direct drive turntable that incorporates an S shaped tonearm. Features include the Quick Start mechanism that starts spinning the platter after you’ve lifted the tonearm and moved it towards the edge of the record. You can then engage the oil damped cue lever which will lower the tonearm down onto the record smoothly. When the record in finished playing the Auto Return raises the tonearm with lift and returns it to the rest and the turntable will shut down.  The PL-518 is mounted with an Audio Technica AT120E with a LP Gear new stylus. The plinth is in excellent condition but the dust cover has a crack in the right rear corner.(see photos) The platter mat is original.
