Anyone familiar with Supro amplifiers knows how brilliant the equipment was recreated by the heirs of the original Supro, whose sound defined rock/hard rock of the late 1960s and 1970s.

A two-channel amplifier with huge headroom (the channels can be used independently, simultaneously or one after the other for stronger drive). A universal amplifier, but the greatest advantage is the ability to reproduce Jimmy Page's drive, which we all know and adore on Led Zeppelin' albums. It works perfectly with the pedals. One of the videos that shows the sound of the amplifier well on YouTube:

Amplifier made in the USA, 100% tube, with tube tremolo, with an ingenious speaker designed especially for the combo. European version amplifier, 220/230V.

For the combo, I have a dedicated, custom-made flight case in which it was always transported. The box can also serve as a stand for the amp on stage.

I purchased the amplifier online from the Thomann store in September 2015. I played few dozen concerts using the amp and it never let me down. The amp has warm sound and brilliantly captures all articulation nuances. In 2020, the tubes were replaced and they have literally a dozen or so hours of play time, because I changed the genre of music and equipment. The amplifier looks like new, it has minor scratches resulting from normal use (on the right hand side - as shown on one of the pictures).

An additional advantage is that the amplifier is no longer produced, so the number of available amps is limited.

I have the original box and documentation. I can arrange shipping to anywhere in EU at buyer's expense. The combo is priced to sell as it is a great amp in a mint condition.

Description from the Internet:

The 1 x 12 "Dual-Tone" combo amp is the undeniable rock star of Supro's mid-1960s amp lineup. Vintage 1624T amplifiers have been sought after for decades because they embody the most desirable aspects of the Supro sound.

This 24-watt 1 x 12 tube combo can be easily driven to wonderful saturation at controlled concert volumes, while maintaining exceptional clarity and bandwidth at any spin-up level. The unique character of this amplifier is largely defined by the use of the 6973 power tube. These solid 9-pin tubes were widely used in medium and low power Supro amplifiers manufactured 50 years ago. 6973 tubes look like EL84s, but provide a distinctly American voice that has been missing for too long in the world of tube amplifiers.

Connecting to IN 1 + 2 connects both preamplifier channels in parallel to double the input signal and double the gain. This clever topology allows you to hit the power amp as hard as necessary and even allows you to "switch channels" with a simple A/B switch.

The reissue of the 1964 Supro Dual-Tone, combined with our breathtaking custom 12-inch Supro speaker, brings out a surprisingly plump low end with all the detailed mid- and high-frequency articulation that define the Supro sound. Loud enough to tour with a band, but easy to transport around town, the Supro Dual-Tone is the perfect small club and recording amp.
