Fresher FRS SS-40 (Fresher Refined Series) with Tokai TWB-20 PUs, MIJ 1982

Good condition Fresher FRS SS-40 from the early 80's.

FRS stands for Fresher Refined Series which are a step up from the standard Freshers of the day.

I've installed new Alpha pots and a Switch-craft Input jack. The original 3 way switch is functioning fine. The guitar has a few body dings and a paint chip on the back of the neck and a small one on the head stock (see pix).

The guitar is playing well and sounding great.

I've done a basic setup but would recommend you do your own to suit your playing style.

Truss rod: turning smoothly and can still tighten.
Frets: About 90% left.
Neck: Straight
Action:    Low E: 2.00 mm      High E: 1.75 mm (still room at the saddles to come down)
