About This Listing

The September 2010 issue of Guitar World ranked the Mockingbird as "the coolest guitar of all time".
Part of the NJ series ("Nagoya, Japan", not "New Jersey"), this was a the higher end neckthrough model from BC Rich that never had the pesky (and often broken) Varitone system. Maple body, neckthrough constructed maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard (24 frets, 860mm scale length), weighs just over 4kg's. Loaded with BC Rich branded gold tuners and a Badass bridge, a pair of BC Rich pickups (a P and a J) controlled by a three-way toggle and volume/tone knobs, it appears close to all original other than the output jack and a new set of knobs.
Given a full professional service and setup including a fret polish, truss adjustment and restring. Frets have plenty of life left and the neck is straight. Has one very notable ding on the body as pictured that's really only cosmetic with no noticeable impact when you're playing it.
