Not only do these look pretty sweet, they play right into any set with classic strength, attractive styling and premium versatility. Dirty Luvs are great for personalizing your playing style with adjustable hex-screw polepieces that help these pickups deliver intense response and results. With a half-cover and exposed poles, these pups are sure to garner attention for their looks, but you’ll find that their performance is just as note-worthy. These are superb through a tube amp and are moderately wound featuring AlNiCo magnets to serve you well in Classic Rock, Blues and other vintage genres.

These half-covered humbuckers feature two rows of exposed hex screw style adjustable polepieces on each pickup. Please note that standard-sized covered humbucker pickups require “square-corner” style humbucker routs if using a pickguard. The included pickup wire color codes will let you know the hot, ground, and coil split wire colors for these 4-wire pickups. Due to the vast and varied nature of possible components and set-up styles, we do not provide specific information or diagrams for installation. You should be able to use the basic information we provide to match up with any diagram or instructions you choose to use.

Please note that different manufacturers and pickup styles use different wire color code systems. It is important to use the Dragonfire wire color codes provided with your order.

These humbuckers are 4-wire so you can coil-split as well as add series-parallel or phase reverse functionality for expanded wiring and playing options (instructions not included). If you’d like to update your wiring and have us create a new wiring system for you, check out our Wiring Harnesses.

Installation requires soldering and compatible system. We provide enough pickup lead wire to complete installation wiring in standard usage situations.
