About This Listing

I offer here a Gibson Les Paul Traditional 100 from 2015, a limited edition for the 100th anniversary of luthier legend Lester William Polsfuss aka "Les Paul" handmade in the USA luxury variant of the Les Paul with impressive flamed "AA" maple top, solid body of "A" mahogany (without any weight relief), one-piece mahogany neck with '50s Rounded C neck profile, bound rosewood fingerboard with trapezoidal pearl inlays, two powerful Gibson 1959 Tribute humbucker pickups, convenient Gibson GForce Tronical ETune tuning system and 45.6mm wide brass zero fret nut in a radiant Honey Burst Nitro finish in excellent condition including the original gold Gibson luxury hardshell case, all manufacturer papers and a professional setup with 10 gauge Ernie Ball strings.

The Les Paul Traditional Flame Top comes from the 2015 limited edition "100th Anniversary" series dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Les Paul developer Lester W. Polsfuss, and reflects on what made the world's most influential electric guitar such an enduring success. Combining classic solid tonewoods with vintage pickups and premium hardware, this beautiful guitar features an "AA" grade flame maple top that looks even more lush under a high-gloss Honey Burst Nitro finish.

Like the coveted '50s originals, this guitar comes with non-weight-reduced mahogany body and an impressive flamed maple top on top. The look is reminiscent of the beauty of the most coveted Les Pauls of all time and is complemented by the one-piece mahogany neck with beefier '50s Rounded C neck profile and rosewood fingerboard bound in vintage cream bindings with traditional trapeze pearl inlays. A hand-lettered Centennial logo inlay on the headstock and brass zero fret saddle add a custom touch to the guitar.

Sonically, a pair of Gibson 1959 Tribute humbuckers Alnico II magnets provide the classic, punchy sound. With 42 AWG enamelled wire and the slightly offset coils like the original PAFs, these pickups capture all the depth and sharpness of the best humbuckers from 1957-'60, paving the way for authentic rock sounds of all kinds!

A sound sample of the model (blue version only) can be found at the top of the photo gallery.

The beefy '50s Rounded C mahogany neck fits nicely in the hand with the wider 45.6mm nut width, and together with the classic 628mm scale length results in super playability.

In short, an authentic vintage Gibson Les Paul with excellent features that won't leave your mouth agape.
