15.5" Viola is typically recommended for ages 12+, with a minimum arm length of 26" (25.5"-26.5" is acceptable). To find out arm length, use a tape measure or yardstick to measure the distance between the middle of the left-hand palm and the neck. Ensure that the hand is fully extended and the arm is perpendicular to the body.
