This is nicest acoustic guitar I have owned. So nice that I have kept it in its case stored with my collection for years. There is no wear on the frets and has seen very little time out of its case. The Black Sassafras is gorgeous and the sound it projects with the Lutz Spruce top is outstanding. Black Sassafras guitars can be very expensive. This guitar is absolutely a one of a kind with awesome sound, and play ability! It also is one of the lightest guitars you will ever play. When you order a Halcyon you pay in advance, and it can take up to 18 months before the build is completed.
The Halcyon M00-14 is similar in size to the Martin CEO-7. Other than it’s C neck profile on the Halcyon is not nearly as chunky and feels much more comfortable than the Martin to play. I urge you to check out the Halcyon website if you have not seen their guitars before.
