This listing is for two (2) Vintage (1960’s) "New Old Stock" Sprague .01uF 600v capacitors. These are the original DIFILM (Dual Dielectric) Polyester Film and Paper capacitors made in the 1960’s by Sprague Products Company in North Adams, MA.
They are very sought after for use in guitar tone circuits. For example, a typical Les Paul uses a .022uF tone cap, but they drift up a bit in value over the years, so these (60 year old) .010uF caps now read about .017-.02uF which is perfect. So there you go!
Sprague caps will really open up the sound of most any guitar, with a warm and clear tone that is very musical.
