A beautiful UBER RARE 1964 Dual Pickup Guyatone LG-85T made in Japan Electric Guitar. What a time capsule, and it plays and sounds great!

Guyatone only made this model for two years. It was the model just prior to the LG-90T. This one is identified as a 1964 from our access to catalogs. The 1965 models had a different Pickup cover. We are confident of the age of this cool guitar!

The guitar cleaned up great and we had all the right parts to complete this cool Guyatone. We were missing only the whammy bar. Glad we had an original to go with this cool guitar. Other than that, this guitar is completely original including the hard shell case!

This guitar is an amazing survivor of the Rockin 1960's. All original but the whammy bar. It has two great sounding Single Coil style Pickups, the cool Beige metal pickguard and matching Beige Pickup Covers. It has both working pickup switches, original knobs, bridge, nut, tuners and even the metal Guyatone Logo. What a time capsule! Not the loudest pickups we have had on a guitar but full of tone. Turn the amp up and be prepared for a cool unique Garage Band Sound like we remember from the 1960's. Put an Overdrive in line and you will love these pickups!

Our Tech set it up with really good low action. The neck is pretty straight for a non truss rod guitar. No fret outs on it. No need for a truss rod with this guitar. The neck is dead straight and it plays great up the 22 frets. Nice big fat neck... No fret outs or buzzing anywhere. The nut measures 1 11/16ths and it has a 24 1/2 inch scale neck. The body only measures 12 inches at the lower bout. It only weighs 5 lbs. 12 ozs... No sore backs.

Check out the original Hard Shell Case we got with this cool guitar. It had been painted a long time ago but it still has the original working latches, hinges, and leather handle. Even the Accessory Box and back restraint strap are still with this cool guitar case!
