Very cool 1974 BurgundyGlo Rickenbacker 480 in Very Good Condition!
A rare find on this side of the pond! This very cool & all-original 70s Rickenbacker has just arrived in store! This rare beauty, in particular, is a 1974 BurgundyGlo 480 which as you can see from our images shares its body and headstock stylings with its 4-stringed big brother the 4003.
Whilst ours has been well looked after by its previous owner, this 480 does have some signs of use & love. Around the body, the 480 has a few cosmetic chips & dings which aren't uncommon on an instrument of this age, the body, neck & headstock have some light-checking in its finish.
Other than the few small cosmetic defects this 480 is in very good shape with all original electronics & hardware, as well as being beautifully set up with a nice low action that feels effortless to play. Its lacquered fretboard is in beautiful shape along with its original frets that have some life left in them yet!
As is standard practice with any new arrival in store this '74 480 has been through the careful hands of our onsite workshop team who have meticulously checked and tested this Ricky, to ensure it is in tip-top shape for its new home & owner!
