This is a beautiful vintage accordion made in Italy sold in its original case. Every keyboard note and bass note works great. It has no straps because the ones I bought from Amazon were pleather and flaked off quickly - straps are a personal choice and there's a wide gamut on spend/quality.
The staying power of these instruments is incredible. Their strident timbre is an authentic addition to any recording. In a world of software synths and plugin madness, the raw acoustics of an accordion breathes real life into your work in a way that technology can only approximate.
I have become somewhat of an accordion aficionado over the past few years, and while some of the older ones from the 30s have their own special charm, these Italian accordions from the mid-60s are well-made and more dependable than their earlier cousins.
