It should be called mint or to be more precise: Near mint as there
is only one small little ding that even can be cured if wanted. See
last picture. These guitars are beautiful to look at and indeed there
are also remarks to be made as these concert guitars in this price
range (around 6.000 USD) should be perfect in every detail!
Fretplacing wasn't perfect. The frets needed to be leveled and the
fret ends dressed. Same thing could be said about the topnut and
the bridgebone that both were kind of sloppy made. Some lacquer
faults (due to moisture?) also have been cured. Apart from that this
lattice braced instrument has a nice tone: Listen to my sound example:
Evenly and warm with a good balance.
The guitar has lots of extra's:
- The armrest for the right arm: Really a useful addition!
- The tailpiece that should increase the guitars volume with about
18 %. I haven't tried this to be honest...
- The African Blackwood that is very costly on these guitars and
is a beautiful addition. Moreover a Canadian cedar soundboard.
- The marquetry all around this guitar and the beautiful rosette.
- Reinforcement of the neck and a radiused fingerboard.
Shipping to the rest of the world might be possible. Please inquire.
I will only charge real costs. Just take a listen to the sound example
on this guitar: Noud Koevoets - Bellucci guitar Prelude 18 Tarrega
