Blackbird Lucky 13 Carbon Fiber High Gloss 2015 Left Handed Electro-Acoustic

Here for sale we have a Left Handed Blackbird Lucky 13 in High Gloss finish. Made in the USA in 2015, this guitar features a unibody construction, using molds and computer calibrated CNC machines to form the Carbon Fiber unibody and neck. The body is ported on the bass side upper bout to project the voice of the guitar more easily to the player. This guitar features a Micarta fingerboard and bridge, Tusq Compensated Saddle and Nut, Black sealed Gotoh tuning machines and Fishman Matrix Infinity undersaddle piezo pickup.

The neck plays very well, with a Satin finish to the rear that assists with smooth navigation of the 24.75" scale. The 'Low Profile' carve of the neck ensures comfortable playability in all registers, whilst the 16" fingerboard radius provides a nicely flat and consistent playing surface right up to the 20th fret. The body feel nicely compact in the arms, and with such a lightweight material being used offers a comfortable playing experience in both standing and seated positions. 

The Lucky 13 provides a bright and sparkly voice, with a focussed mid range that keeps things punchy. The low end is understated yet detailed, giving the guitar a very distinctive tone. The use of Micarta for the fingerboard and bridge ensure a fast and snappy attack that captures every nuance of your playing. The instrument projects very well, and offers a wide dynamic range that feels very sensitive. The Fishman Matrix Infinity undersaddle piezo pickup faithfully conveys the voice of the guitar, making it perfect for live and recording situations.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall very good condition. A small crack to the finish below the high E tuning peg can be seen on the front face. A small scuff mark is present to the rear side of the top edge. Light scratching to the front face is visible under direct light.

Neck: Overall very good condition. Light denting of the finish can be seen just beneath the binding on the treble side between frets 1-5. Otherwise all aspects of the neck and fingerboard present minimal markings. 

Body: Overall very good condition. Light scratching is visible to the front and rear faces under direct light. This is most notable to the treble side of the soundhole, and is consistent with light playwear. Very light denting is present to the front face, lightly breaking the finish. This is most notable to the lower bout. 

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate very light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any future work the new owner may wish to perform.
