Super cool 1969 Gibson Les Paul ‘59 Conversion
Guitar has been refinished to natural and late 1960s patent number sticker Humbuckers have been added. The tuners have been Grovered, but the originals are included. Original wiring harness. Tailpiece and bridge are also original. Homemade wooden knobs which are so wonky they are cool: I’ve just left them. Refretted with a new nut. Has been with the same owner since the mid-1970s.
Awesome medium chunky neck profile. Feels very much like my 1950s gold top. Non-pancake body with three piece neck. Original wiring harness dates to mid 1969. Some non-original screws. I’m not sure of the age of all the plastic parts, but they look old. Comes in a black case with yellow lining. Not a Gibson case and kind of like a deluxe chip board case.
Weighs 9 pounds 7.8 ounces.
