From the Manufacturer The M-Audio Merge 2x2 Two-in/Two-out MIDI Merge Box is a mainstay of any recording studio. This handy, compact device enables two MIDI sources to drive a single MIDI input on another device. For example, the Merge 2x2 lets you merge MTC from one source with note data from another and send it all into a single port on another piece of gear. This merge box has a power indicator LED, sends a MIDI "All Notes Off" message at power-up and needs no external power supply.
