Peavey T-60 in the desirable black finish, in the original branded hard case. Professionally serviced and playing beautifully. I'm selling off some guitars that I have more than one example of, or simply aren't being played. Since the day I brought this one back from the repair shop, it hasn't left the case until I took it out to test and photograph.
The body and hardware are in excellent shape, with very minor playing wear, light patina. The neck has some apparent cosmetic issues (see photos), though they are minor and have no effect on play: Small burn marks on top corner of headstock, light discoloration where fingerboard meets the maple neck, hairline crack in center of fingerboard between last three frets. This has been evaluated by the technician, and found to be stable, with no risk of further separation.
The frets are in good condition cosmetically and functionally, neck is straight, action is low, notes ring out clearly across the board. Switches and pots are all functioning correctly and without noise. Serial number 00849878 indicates 1981 manufacture, at the later part of the period with the 'Patents Applied For' decal. A fine "late early" example of this classic American made axe that's finally getting its due.
The injection molded Peavey hard case is also in excellent functional and cosmetic condition; all latches and locks present and functioning, case lining completely intact, no cracks or breaks to exterior.
