We’ve just acquired a really clean & early production all original 1978 Music Man Stingray Bass w/all the right features, its has its original Sunburst finish over a lightweight Ash body, its Maple neck is super clean w/perfect logo & frets, its ink date stamped body is Nov. 8th 1978 & neck is stamped Nov. 13th 1978. She has pot date codes from the 33rd week of 1978, its original black teardrop pickgard pulls this all together making it one of Leo’s last great Stingray’s, its pickup is super powerful w/that quintessential “Funk” sound, its all original in all respects including every single screw from new, it has a gorgeous patina for a 42 year old original, it plays & feels incredible, its lightweight having killer sustain & tone qualities, she’s an exceptional example w/just a few pings & dings & comes w/a cool original black Tolex Hard Case.
