"Voyager Guitars" by “Kou Sakurai”, a luthier who has a studio in Minamiizu Town, Shizuoka Prefecture.

He has been creating masterpiece guitars in Japan.

He learned under the “Chris Eccleshall” who have customers such as Rory Gallagher、Pete Townshend、David Bowie, etc

This is traditional style model which is a motif of Gibson J-45. 

Top: Lutz Spruce, side&back:  Honduras Mahogany, Neck: Honduras Mahogany, Fingerboard: Madagascar Rosewood, Bridge: Madagascar Rosewood, gorgeous wood materials！     

Solid dynamic sound! From low to treble strings, it had amazing balance of tone.  Mr.Sakurai`s meticulous professional work improved this J-45 type to next guitar stage！

Backing, solo-playing, finger-style, this guitar have adaptability for any type of playing.

Original pick-guard, herringbone trim, square&diamond inlay, etc add traditional atmosphere.    Popular Tuner: Gotoh SGS510Z is equipped.   You’ll have non-stress tuning time.

After graduating from ESP Guitar Craft Academy in Nagoya,Japan, he went to England to learn from renowned guitar maker Chriss Eccleshall. The following year he returned home and worked for a major guitar manufacturer. In 2007, he set up Voyager Guitars in Minami Izu,Shizuoka. He’s been gaining a reputation as a talented luthier.
