About This Listing

Only 262 Martin N-20 guitars were built in Nazareth, PA USA in 1969. This rare classical acoustic guitar is made of Brazilian Rosewood, Spruce and Ebony. After 69' this model was made of less expensive tone woods. Willie Nelsons N-20 is named "trigger" and his is a 1969 as well. This particular guitar was originally purchased by a Mike Kirkland, a member of the Brothers Four, the year he left the band in 1969. It has stayed in the family all these years. The years have been kind to this guitar but during its lifetime it did receive a small crack in the back plate and a gouge in the spruce top. Still plays beautifully as you would expect from a Martin. The owner is providing a solid Martin case which is suitable but not the original. Also included with the purchase is an official pamplet with pictures of the Brothers Four and information about the band

Shipping is negotiable, however buyer should be aware that items made of Brazilian Rosewood are import restricted in some countries!
