Jeff the Tech's brought over a few that he had been hoarding for us to share. He upgraded this one like he does to all of his guitars. Here's what he did to this cool Strat/Tele...
1. Used a Solid Alder Body with a cool brand new Tele Style Neck he had in the shop.
2. Added the Cool Gold Individual Tuners
3. Added a pair of Fender Pickups and the awesome Seymour Duncan Billy Gibbons Red Devil Humbucker
4. New Pure Tone Jack.. these don't let your cord come loose!
5. Fender Pots and Pearloid Pickguard
6. Schaller Strap Locks
7. New Bone Nut
8. Gold Fender USA Whammy bar with Ivory Tip
9. Upgraded GFS Trem Block and Gold Bridge
He also set it up with a new set of 9's and awesome playing low action. This guitar not only looks great, it sounds and plays great as well!
The guitar itself is in great shape. The frets are virtually unplayed and only one scratch by the input jack. See pic 4. The Guitar has a great look with that Tele shaped Headstock. Jeff the Tech did a great job with this one.....He worked on the neck to give it great easy playing action and it intonates all the way up the 22 Jumbo frets... The neck is great ...Its a 25 1/2 inch scale neck... its really easy to play .. the new bone nut measures 1 11/16 inches....

DESCRIPTION
Meet the Red Devil for Strat set. All the fat, P.A.F. tone and Texas hot-sauce sizzle of Billy’s favorite, in a pickup that will fit in any Strat-sized single-coil rout—proving that tone as big as Texas can come in deceptively small packages. The Red Devil for Strat set features three unique pickup winds, with specially calibrated Alnico 5 magnets. The bridge is wound like an extra spicy P.A.F., with enough meat to beef up your Strat and provide the fat tone that Billy is known for. The neck and middle back off the heat a little and brush on sweet, smoky blues—making them perfect for ringing clean tones and chunky rhythms, but with the horsepower Billy demands for lead playing. The Red Devil is also sold as individual neck, middle, and bridge models. Individual pickups are sold in black, white, cream, and parchment colors. Hand built in Seymour Duncan's Santa Barbara, CA factory; the Red Devil model for Strat uses 4-conductor lead wire for multiple wiring options, and vacuum wax potting for quiet, squeal-free performance.
