Steve Fischer was working at McPherson guitars when he was approached by Paul Reid Smith himself to create a new PRS Custom Acoustic Guitar Division. After establishing PRS acoustic guitars, Steve broke out on his own to create Steve Fisher Guitars.

Perfectly quarter sawn Master Grade East Indian Rosewood back and sides, Lutz Spruce Soundboard, Ebony fretboard and bridge, Mahogany neck, venetian cutaway, Schertler tuning machines, 1 3/4 nut, Rosette and purfling burled maple, flamed Maple binding.
