Big, bold, beautiful… and Japanese. The Orville by Gibson name came from Gibson's relationship Yamano Gakki, the company that manufactured the Japanese Epiphones at the time. Somewhere between an American Gibson and a Korean Epiphone lies this masterpiece: the Orville J-200. A booming yet balanced tone in a classic country/western package. This guitar sounds fantastic and is in excellent condition for its age, showing light signs of playwear but not abuse. No cracks, no repairs, no excuses! The neck is straight, the truss rod works in both directions, and the frets have minimal signs of use. The stock preamp works perfectly. Freshly setup with coated D’Addario XS 12s, this guitar ready to rock! The original hardshell case is included.
*** The blonde Gibson J-200 shown in the last photo is not included, it is for comparison purposes only.
