I bought this guitar back in the early 2000s when my friend’s Russki Roommate got us caught up in the Russian Metal scene in deep Brooklyn. So many synths, sooo much vodka… oh, the memories! Haha.
Douglas is a Rondo brand, IIRC. This V is has a glued in 12” radius neck, with hot passive ceramic EMGs in it: Bridge - 15.4 / Neck - 11.4. And like so many of the lovely ladies in deep Brooklyn…. It‘s built for speed and scream like hell.😉
The Floyd was great back when it was set up properly, I would definitely suggest giving it a deep cleaning… and lubing up the springs. I haven’t changed the strings or messed with it in a decade.
I did plug it in the other day and it was still basically in tune and intonated. I couldn’t find the wiggle stick for it, though…. which is a bummer.
It’s missing the back cover and has its fair share of dings and scratches, (see pics) but all in all in great shape for a 20 year old guitar that will need minimal work to get it gig worthy… and is priced accordingly.
Can provide more pics / sound samples if requested.
