Here for sale is a used Stelling Sunflower from the 1990's with a TKL hardshell case. The banjo has been thoroughly played, refretted, and even had a neck repair done at one point, but it plays fantastically well and has that iconic Stelling sound. Also includes a scorpion bridge which is slightly taller than the factory bridge - and better sounding in my opinion. The current frets are brand new, and the neck is fully spiked (A, Bb, B, and C). If you're looking for a solid Stelling player banjo, this is it.

Notes regarding condition:

  • Regarding the neck repair, a crack occurred in the heel and fractured through to the fingerboard. You can see a light line on the treble side of the fingerboard where the crack was repaired. The crack was professionally repaired and is stable.
  • The edge of the high D string's slot in the compensated nut broke off but doesn't affect functionality.
  • Finish wear on the back of the neck where the thumb might rest.
  • Frets are like new
  • Various dings throughout, none affecting function.
  • Chrome is notably dirty.

Ships UPS or FedEx Ground + signature required. Local pickup available upon request.
