The Lowden 50 Series is the very best that Lowden has to offer, the cream of the proverbial crop. This custom built S50c 12 Fret uses unique and spectacular Mastergrade African Blackwood for the back and sides and has a Tasmanian Blackwood binding and a cutaway. But it doesn't end there!
The top is made of Mastergrade Sinker Redwood. Sinker Redwood originates from California and is extracted from 1000 to 2000 year old trees that have fallen naturally and been preserved under water for centuries. The sound is breathtaking. The typical recognizable piano-like Lowden sound is very distinguishable by the unique warm, defined and rich sound palette of the African Blackwood.
The 5-piece mahogany/rosewood neck with 'GL Standard' shape meets the body at the 12th fret, while the ebony fingerboard continues its way across the top until it meets the soundhole with a beautiful curve.
This Lowden comes with TFOA passport in an Ameritage hardshell case.
