About This Listing

There is no actual tortoise in tortoise shell. There is, however a metric shit ton of mojo. This beautiful piece has tortoise all over it. It's on the headstock and around the pickups and on the selector switch plate and the truss rod cover. The whole sheebang, all together is about as easy on the eyes as an electric guitar can be. It sounds like the primitive single coil of your 60s Japanese jobbies. It rocks! Or, does it? Turn the stuff down and strum nicely. Now what do you hear? Pretty, ain't it? The neck is smooth playing and narrow. Some music was made with this and it has the scars to prove it. Still, looks good for a 60 year-old. Did we mention that it's gorgeous?
