1964 Ludwig 4x14 DownBeat Snare in original Sky Blue Pearl wrap in Excellent Vintage Condition!

FEATURES:
- Original Wrap: Beautifully preserved with no ply or de-lamination detected.
- Shell Composition: Top-quality 3-ply mahogany-poplar-mahogany featuring renowned maple re-rings for a warm, balanced sound.
- Butt Plate: Genuine Ludwig, appears original, maintaining the vintage authenticity.
MODIFICATIONS & CONDITION:
- Tone Control: Original Baseball Bat Muffler style tone control has been expertly removed.
- Throw-Off: Fitted with a new replacement, working seamlessly. However, the new throw-off has different mounting holes, so the original holes are exposed (see pictures for detail).
- Hoops: Present minor pitting, indicative of the drum’s storied past.
