’72-73 Saga HD-308 (Japanese D-18 copy), re-glued finger braces, inside is pristine, new nut, low action, K&K pure mini installed, tightened tuners, new bone nut, new wood bridge pins, Brazilian Rosewood fretboard, solid mahogany back & sides, Sitka spruce top - very good condition 40-year-old guitar completely cleaned up, refurbished, & ready to play. Super comfortable modified V-neck; nothing extreme, very soft & super comfortable. Reunion Blues case. Balanced, articulate, punchy, sweet trebles, LOUD!
While this guitar maintains the foundational tones it strives to copy (Martin-esque D18) - because of the well-aged, played in wood, & it’s articulate mid-range and strong, sweet trebles - it contains an almost Irish quality (think Lowden with a more American flair…).
