About This Listing

Rare boutique amp! Imagine a vintage Marshall Plexi with some extra voicings similar to a fat JTM 45 or JMP 50 with treble. So you get some classic tones along with extra gain. You can switch between the two. A "Vintage" Plexi mode and a hotter "Modern" mode that adds 3rd gain stage like a JMP into a JCM 800 arrangement.

Walter Becker from Steely Dan had a smaller wattage version of this.

This is a classic rock amp, honestly in the same league as Matchless, Park and Cage amps. It's handmade with point-to-point wiring by a guy named Brian Gerhard. This is an early model, I believe from 1999 or 2000, just around the time boutique amps started getting big. He had already been making these amps though since the mid '90s.

There are some scratches and blemishes you only notice on very close scrutiny, otherwise this amp looks almost brand new.

Happy to answer any questions.
