Excellent condition Tonebender clone fuzz pedal. Founds fantastic. Takes battery or plug.
Description from the builder (Jimmy Behan):
The Super Electric MkIII is a recreation of the Sola Sound Tone Bender MkIII germanium fuzz from the early 70s. The only change made to the stock circuit was the removal of the 220K limiting resistor, which allows for more output level.
It uses three germanium transistors, and is solidly built on vintage style, wide pitch veroboard.
It's powered by a 9v battery or a negative-center 9v power supply. As it's a positive ground circuit, it would require its own isolated supply which can't be daisy-chained with negative ground pedals.
I used my original silver Sola Sound MkIII as a reference, to ensure a sonically faithful result.
