Tokai Silver Star 1982 - Stratocaster Nitro-refin

For sale is a 1982 Tokai Silverstar electric 6 string guitar, it comes with all original parts, plus updated plastics and quality fender tuners. These updates alone make it a worthwhile addition to any collection.

Some parts on this guitar have been replaced due to wear over the last 40 years, original parts show wear but will ship with guitar.

Replaced Parts:

New tortoiseshell pick guard, rear cover and new cream knobs..

Tuners replaced with Gotoh fender nickel silver button tuners - see photos..

Fender bent steel saddles.

The plastic nut was replaced with a camel bone nut.

Picks ups are Tokai grey backs, and are exceptionally good replicas of the Fender grey back pickups, they still work perfectly.

The guitar body was recently sanded and sprayed with Behlin vintage matt white nitrocellulose.

This is a 40 year old guitar that has done many shows, has a few dings, but shows it has had a good life in the music scene in Japan.

This guitar is a fine example of Japan Tokai luthiers duplicating a 1970’s Fender stratocaster, in reality these are known to be 1 for 1 copies that outplay and outshine the CBS Fender originals.

Dont be fooled, with new paint, hardware, and a keen set-up she is ready to give her all to the discerning artist.

Guitar also comes with original gig bag, and will arrive well packed.
