Mark Angus was a brilliant luthier out of Laguna Beach’s renowned The Guitar Shoppe. He passed last year. This one is 26 years old and is a splendid instrument.
This is one of those especially good guitars. Especially for aficionados of fine boutique builds.
Marks guitars are lively and articulate.
Sitka top with beautiful Indian Rosewood back and sides. Ebony fretboard and bridge with a magical spitting frog abalone inlay on the fretboard.
I put L.R. Baggs pickups in all of my guitars and this one was recently done professionally by The Guitar Shoppe.
Look up Mark Angus. He was an amazing luthier. Sweet guy too.
