Here's The Run Down:

This is a Very Early Mel-O-Bar Build that is nearly impossible to find from this time period and I consider to truly be a significant piece of Mel-O-Bar history. I have yet to see any this early (patent pending) of this or any model. This guitar is in great condition over all for a 57+/- year old string instrument and was obviously taken care of very well over the years. Its is in the cosmetic condition shown, so be sure to see all of the pics (more available upon request). I tried to take really good pics, so you can judge for yourself (see pics). This guitar is all original without exception.  All electronics operate at 100% with no scratchy pots or jack issues. The finish has been black lighted and is 100% original and repair free. There will be discoloration, dings, scratches, chips, wear, finish checking and/or flaws here and there as pictured, but nothing other than what you would expect and still in great shape overall. The hardware shows some discoloration as expected. The original tuning pegs operate perfectly. This would be a great grab for any vintage collector without draining your bank account!

The Included Case is vintage, may or may not be the original, but the interior has been changed to foam at some point. Still does its job, but definitely cosmetically challenged. It opens, closes and latches with some effort and it can be carried. The important part is that it fits and you can use it.
