Dripping in art deco style, this TopHat Vanderbilt 33 sounds as good as it looks!
This Class A head has the same controls and features as their S16 model, but utilizes a 2-6L6 power section and GZ34 rectifier tube. Internally, the EQ section is normalized, rather than the Gibson/Vox type EQ section in the S16. This model offers more headroom and the fatter spectrum associated with the larger power tubes. Due to its versatility, it can produce Vox, tweed Fender and Marshall tonalities. The controls are straight forward: Hi/Lo inputs, a fat-bright switch, Treble Mid & Bass, Gain and Volume are all accounted for. Additionally you'll find a cut knob on the rear panel furthering your tonal options.
TopHat have a reputation for making superior amps and that's no different here. 33 watts, at 8 or 4 ohms all pumping through its matching cab housing two gorgeous 12" Celestion Vintage 30 speakers.
