About This Listing

I bought this beauty brand new from music store. At the time I could not afford a Martin D-28 and this was similar in design and quality. The Professional series by Alvarez was just below the Yairi models (also just out of my price range) and better than the Artist and Regent lines.

This glossy finished solid spruce top has aged to a warmer amber tone with gorgeous Indian rosewood back and sides. Herringbone inlays around sound hole, body, and back. All original except for string changes over the years. Very lightly played and mostly kept in its case or on a stand. Almost perfect condition with slight scratches to pick guard.

This guitar deserves to be played out! It's sound is big and bright and too much for my bedroom strumming. (I've grown to prefer warmer, mellowed tones of mahogany and cedar). Since I have other guitars, this one doesn't get the play it should and I can't justify keeping it for looks. I'm hoping someone who appreciates quality and craftsmanship will become the new owner and take this guitar to new levels!

Thanks for looking. Check out the photos and let me know if you have questions. Sold as-is. No returns. Shipping in the continental US only.
