About This Listing

I’ve played a lot of different black panel deluxes, nothing has come even close to this one in particular. It‘s got mojo. The amp is in overall great condition after all these years, some minor scuffs and dinks on the tolex (nothing that is ripping). The grill cloth is similar, as it has a few imperfections but that’s how you know it has been loved. I actually received it from it’s original owner! Everything is safe and sound, properly functioning with all original parts except for the foot switch and a three-pronged cord conversion. It has been serviced by the legendary Milwaukee amp tech John Blick in the past. The tone and splashy reverb on this thing is unbeatable, not to mention the deep vibrato channel- controlled via foot switch. At 22-watts this amp sounds great at a low volume but also easily has enough power to gig with. Cranked up this thing will leave your jaw on the floor garaunteed! No other amp I’ve ever had compares to this one.

Does come with footswitch & amp Cover!

Product Overview
The Black Panel Fender Deluxe Reverb is a true "holiest grail" vintage amp for both the studio and the stage, with a nearly never-ending list of famous users and a rabid fanbase of collectors. What seems at the surface to just be a Deluxe Amp with additional reverb circuit is actually more than that -- there's an extra gain stage in the Deluxe Reverb that turns up the grit much earlier than the standard Deluxe, giving you a more recognizable dirty Black Panel sound. This desert island amp has exemplary break-up at manageable volumes, signature Fender cleans when set lower, and absolutely luscious tremolo and reverb sounds for an all-in-one amp that slides comfortably into any situation.
