This is a later 1930's Epiphone Zenith Archtop acoustic.
In very good condition for the year and with a very good playing action and acoustic tone. The frets are nicely polished and have some life left in them.
These models were made in Epiphones New York factory and feature an arched Spruce top and Walnut back and sides. The body width is 16 3/8" with standard F holes. Rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays. This example has an Epiphone "Frequnsator" tailpiece. Slim V profile neck with a 41mm top nut and a rounded-peak headstock.
No visible cracks or repairs. The finish is original and in good shape, just honest wear from its decades of use. One of the Grover machine head buttons has been replaced.
Overall a really nice example sold with its original hard case which is rough around the edges but doing its job.
